Obituary of Teresa M. Beattie

Teresa M. (Lavery) Beattie, 84, of Providence, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. She was the wife of the late James T. Beattie. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Rose (Plante) Lavery. She is survived by her two sons, James H. Beattie and his wife Patti of Washington, New Jersey and Thomas E. Beattie and his husband David W. Nunes of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Genevieve Lupus and her husband David, Shane Beattie and his wife Candace, Casey Beattie and Hayley Beattie; one great granddaughter, Kori Beattie; a sister, Eleanor M. Deuso of North Providence and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Doris M. Loffredo, Richard Lavery and Bernice Lavery. The funeral will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 9 AM from the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Thursday 4-7 PM.
