Obituary of Benjamin Medina, Jr.

Please share a memory of Benjamin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Benjamin (Pito) Medina Jr., 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Providence, RI. He was born on July 19, 1976, in Bronx, NY He is the son of Naomi Medina and the late Benjamin Medina, Sr., and the beloved husband of Songel Pimentel. Pito worked as a security guard for many years. In addition to his mother and wife, he leaves his two sons, Xavier and Jacob Medina, and a brother, Joseph Medina.

We will miss Pito’s funny comments, crazy laughs, and big personality. He loved building, fixing, and figuring out how things worked. Pito was an involved, loving, and understanding father to Xavier and Jacob. We had 26 truly joyful years of the deepest love, happiest marriage, and most genuine partnership that I could imagine ... He gave me the experience of being deeply understood, truly supported, and completely and utterly loved – and I will carry that with me always. We will love you forever.
