Obituary of Mary Ann Cappelli

Maryann (Tammelleo) Cappelli, 86, of Warwick, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 7, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Cappelli Jr., born March 29, 1938, and the daughter of the late Carmine and Lydia (Caldarone) Tammelleo.  Maryann worked in the school lunch program at Mount Pleasant High School and later in the bookstore of Community College of Rhode Island Lincoln before her retirement.  She leaves her loving children  Joseph Cappelli III, his wife Sandra,  Denise Del Padre, and her husband John and John Cappelli.   She leaves 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was never happier than when she was cooking for her family and friends.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave, Providence. Burial will be private. For further information and condolences, please visit MOUNTPLEASANTFH.COM.
