Michael A. Johnston of Pleasant Ave., Pawtucket, RI, passed away peacefully at Hope Health Hospice Center on 12/9/2024. Born in Providence, the son of the late Elaine M. Johnston. He is survived by two children, Doraellen Wheeler of Providence and Miguel A. Johnston Jr. of Florida. He is survived by two brothers, Kevin L. Johnston of East Providence and Gary E. Johnston of Seekonk, MA, and two sisters, Tracine C. Johnston of Providence and Chyonne E. McKay of IL. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rhonda M. Johnston, Regina Y. Cardet, and Kim R. Johnston.

Michael was a bus driver for the Providence School Department for 26 years. Michael was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. Michael loved life and would often help those in need. Michael was well-liked by family and friends. He will be sadly missed. His services will be held at the convenience of his family.
