Ann Bernadette Bland Obituary

Ann Bernadette (Stone) Bland, 82, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Flynn) Stone and the loving wife of 59 years to Richard A. Bland. Ann enjoyed playing bingo and cards, swimming exercises, shopping, and spending time with her many friends. She was the loving mother of Thomas E. Hewes, Jr., Troy Hewes, Richard Bland, Jr., Judy Perry, and Robin Jackson. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Two children predecease her, Timothy Hewes, Angela Bland-Bruce, and all her loving siblings: Geoge, Jr., Daniel, John, Eugene, Jeannie Stone, Pearl Gamba, and Grace Robideau.

Her visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral and Cremation Service, 168 Academy Ave, Providence, followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick.
