To John's family, Today, on what would have been John's 56th birthday, I send my condolences for your loss. John and I remained friends since high school; it's hard to believe that we'll never share a funny text, a clip of music we both enjoyed or just general conversation about what was happening in our lives. I've been trying to understand why he was taken from us. I can only believe that the heavens needed an angel with a warm smile, quick wit and charm. He brightened many of my days with all three. Assuredly, he's doing the same for those who went before us.

My condolences to the Tessier family. My memories of John always when in town would always make it a point to acknowledge our friendship. We would spend hours at the club playing music and guessing who did the song that was playing with his big brother Ronnie. It was a toss up between him and Ronnie. I always lost because they both new music. He was always a lot of fun to hang with. Will miss those times. Prayers to all. He's in heaven still guessing music.
