Obituary of John J. Tessier

Tessier, John J. 55 of Los Angeles, CA, and Providence, RI passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2020, while hiking. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Helen (Murphy), Tessier. John graduated from Classical High and Emerson College, leaving RI to pursue his career in television and film. He worked on Kids Say the Darndest Things (Past and Present), Prototype This, Mythbusters Jr., Animal Kidding, Savage Builds, and many more. Although he lived in LA for 28 years, his heart still belonged with the Red Sox and Patriots. An avid lover of all types of music and a sore loser when bested at any trivia game, which was not often. John was also a great lover of history and films, but John's greatest love was his family. He is survived by his sister Jeanne (Kenneth), Robert (Susan), Ronnie (Christine), Carolyn (John), David (Kate).
