Louis A Verdelotti Obituary

Louis A. Verdelotti, of Providence, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, after a long

illness. He was born in Providence and is the son of the late M/M Antonio and Rosa (De

Raffaele) Verdelotti. Louis is Terry Bontrager's beloved husband.

Louis retired from Butler Hospital, Providence, where he worked as a Certified Nurse

Assistant in the Geriatrics area for many years. Previously, he had been chef for Bishop

Louis Edward Gelineau. Louis belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis and was a

long-time member of the Providence Gay Men’s Chorus. Louis was well known for his

love of purple and for wearing kilts. He was quick to bring a smile to everyone he met.

He leaves his sister Bernice Broccoli and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and

great nephews.



A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 10 a.m., at S,

Stephens Church, 114 George St, Providence. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the

American Kidney Fund,11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. Also, at
